Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under RN supervision. Perform age-appropriate physical and psychological care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs collection, and psychosocial support. Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, range of motion exercises, and meal preparation while maintaining infection prevention and PPE protocols. Aid nursing staff with procedures, document resident interactions and care outcomes, collect non-invasive specimens, and support wellness and recreational programs. Maintain clean living areas through housekeeping and laundry services. Full-time evening shift (40 hours/week) at GSS ND Park River. $21–$25/hour with $5,000 sign-on bonus available. CNA certification required within four months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
- Maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually
- Maintains all department specific required certifications
- Certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry (when applicable)
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
