Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under RN supervision, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs collection, and psychosocial support. Assist with transfers, repositioning, walking, range of motion exercises, and meal preparation while maintaining infection prevention protocols. Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and dietary needs; communicate changing conditions to the charge nurse. Aid nursing staff with procedures, collect non-invasive specimens, and support wellness and recreational programs. Maintain clean living areas through housekeeping and laundry services. Participate in departmental committees as needed. Requires CNA certification or enrollment within four months, a valid driver's license for potential Sanford Category II duties, and completion of annual competency testing with 12 hours of continuing education.
