Job Summary
Provide basic nursing care to ensure patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and protection under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. Recognize, obtain, document, and report data to appropriate staff while partnering with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, RNs, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for patients and their loved ones through safety interventions, emotional support, and education. Requires Nursing Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS), with a High School Diploma or GED. Salary range is $25.99 - $33.37 per hour. Located at the St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital in Port Jefferson.
Required Qualifications
