Job Summary
Nursing Assistant required on a casual basis in Canberra to assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support nursing staff with medications and treatments, maintain a clean and safe environment, document patient care, and aid in patient mobilisation and transfers. Must have at least 6 months of healthcare experience and a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach are essential. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is expected.
