Job Summary
Nursing Assistant needed for 3G/H Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit on 3rd shift (7p-7a) in Lexington, KY. Under supervision of an RN or licensed care team, provides direct patient care and support services, performing selected nursing procedures to assist in examination, treatment, and overall patient care. Unit cares for orthopedic, neuro, spine, stroke, cardiac, and telemetry patients with admissions from PACU, ED, and physician offices. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification (or completion of first-year nursing clinicals with validated clinical), and BLS certification (must obtain within 30 days if not already certified). Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year clinical classes in nursing school and validation of a clinical consistent with level of education
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
