Job Summary
Provide daily resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a part-time evening shift (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) at Avantara Groton. Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), mobility, transfers, and positioning; monitor changes in residents’ conditions; promptly respond to call lights; assist with meals; maintain accurate documentation; promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort; collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current South Dakota CNA certification, or ability to obtain certification
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
