Nursing Assistant - Adult Support Float Pool - Repost

Nursing Assistant in the Adult Support Float Pool performs a variety of patient-care activities and clerical tasks under supervision, with 10-90% unit-dependent duties, and participates as a multidisciplinary team member. Responsibilities include assisting with patient comfort and basic care, routine unit housekeeping, and maintaining communication within the unit. Requires completion of a Nursing Assistant program (or equivalent), Manitoba high school education, and medical terminology knowledge; preference for Indigenous language/customs knowledge. Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment, handle lifting and transfer of patients/equipment, and possess strong English verbal/written skills. In-person position located at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg under Shared Health.
