Nursing Assistant 6S GYN

Provide patient care according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Manage safe patient transport via wheelchair or stretcher, handle dispatch services, and document all services in the electronic medical record. Serve as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. This role is part of Royal Oak Hospital's GYN 6S Surgical Gynecology unit, a female-only facility within Corewell Health's major academic and referral center.
