Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant assists in the treatment and care of the patient under the direction of a Staff RN. Provides personal care including bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, and changing bed lines; collects and reports vital signs; assists with intake/output and with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care including positioning, lifting, and turning; reports changes in patient condition; maintains supplies and equipment; adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
- STNA preferred
- CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment
- Nursing assistant experience preferred
