Job Summary
Assist in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a Staff RN by providing personal care including bathing, feeding, skin and mouth care, and changing bed lines. Collect, document, and report vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight. Empty patient drainage containers, maintain accurate intake and output records, and assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care involving positioning, lifting, and turning. Report changes observed in patient condition or behavior, assist with treatment procedures, and maintain supplies while reporting malfunctioning equipment. Remain compliant with HIPAA, maintain professionalism, and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Full-time night shift with a $5,000 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
- Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
- STNA preferred.
- CPR/When Seconds Count/HOPE within the first six months of employment.
- Nursing assistant experience preferred.
