Job Summary
Support patients with activities of daily living and perform patient care skills as delegated by the licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice. Maintain and demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability of delegated tasks while supporting department operational needs and performing other duties as assigned. Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Requires successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation, CPR/BLS certification, and either six months of hospital or long-term care experience or a recent Nursing Assistant course. Full-time night shift at Kettering Health, a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers serving southwest Ohio, prioritizing patient safety and exceptional care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation
- Certification in CPR/BLS
- Six months experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or a long-term care facility
- Completion of Nursing Assistant course in the last six months
- Nursing student or listed as pre-nursing as shown on transcripts
- Current employee with Kettering Health
