Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the Behavioral Health Unit. Ensure current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS certification, and Behavioral Violence Prevention certificate are maintained. Work full-time night shifts in Saint Clare's Health's award-winning network of hospitals serving Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current
