Job Summary
Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) functions under the direction of a licensed professional nurse to perform routine patient care tasks appropriate to the patient population served. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver care as outlined by the nurse, adheres to safety and quality practices, and maintains a safe patient environment in accordance with Commonwealth of Virginia regulations. The position operates in a 7p-7a shift within Centra’s units, contributing to the delivery of compassionate, standards-based care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification or license (CNA) as required by Virginia
- Evidence of CNA training and competency per Virginia regulations
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed professional nurse in a hospital/clinical setting
