Job Summary
Provide personal care including bathing, feeding, and positioning patients while answering signal lights promptly. Collect specimens, vital signs, and input/output records, then administer enemas, douches, and restraints as instructed. Assist with ambulation, surgery preparation, and postmortem care, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. Observe isolation protocols, run errands, and participate in team conferences and in-service education. Complete three months of on-the-job training and hospital-approved Nursing Aide Training Program to attain proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of hospital approved Nursing Aide Training Program
- Three (3) months on-the-job training
