Job Summary
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned, utilizing effective strategies to model learning skills for diverse students. Create high levels of engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered live classroom sessions. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as training is provided. This part-time role offers flexible campus and clinical-based scheduling, generally consisting of 10-15 hours per week. Competitive hourly rates range from $38.00 to $60.00. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing, one year of clinical RN experience, and active licensure.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered
- Official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- Applicable faculty immunization documentation
