Job Summary
The Nursing Academic Readiness Educator (Part-Time) is responsible for providing one-on-one online guidance to entry-level nursing students in subjects including math, science (including anatomy and physiology), English, and reading. The role requires the educator to have a passion for student success, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze student performance for personalized coaching. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree or higher in education and possess current secondary-level teaching experience, preferably with at least 2 years of recent teaching experience, and be comfortable navigating online environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or higher degree in education with teaching certification (preferred)
- Master’s or higher degree in Nursing (considered)
- Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience, 5+ years preferred
- Current secondary-level teaching experience
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred instructional technology experience
- Experience teaching in an online environment
