Job Summary
Nurses (RNs and LPNs) per-diem opportunities in the Adult Day Program in Boston, MA. Shifts are Day 8-4 or 9-5. Compensation ranges by license: LPN $32-37/hour DOE, RN $34-42/hour DOE. Responsible for evaluating potential participants for admission, coordinating and documenting nursing elements of care plans, administering medications, supervising other nurses, providing direct nursing care and counseling, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance with MassHealth and program policies. Includes supervision of nursing staff, development and review of care plans, and collaboration with program leadership and external providers to support participant health and nutrition needs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, or LPN licensed in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with elders and adults with physical or cognitive impairments.
- Sensitive to the needs of elders of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a multidisciplinary team leader.
- Some supervisory experience with other nurses and direct care staff preferred
