Job Summary
Provide compassionate patient-focused care as a Certified Nurses Aide in Medical-Surgical unit; monitor blood pressure, temperature, and other vitals; assist with meals and safe patient transport; work under the supervision of a registered nurse; night full-time shift with rotating weekends and holidays; CPR certification required; HS diploma or GED; hospital setting experience preferred; on-site presence required with commutable distance to NYP; emphasize teamwork and support to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required
- Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum
