Job Summary
Pick up children from 92NY Nursery School classrooms and transport them to enrichment activities, while ensuring their safety, health, and well-being during class. Provide support and assistance to participants to foster their development and meaningful engagement, communicating regularly with the Director regarding individual needs. Submit daily write-ups and photos documenting class activities before departure. Participate in staff orientation and strictly comply with all policies, rules, and emergency procedures outlined in the Staff manual. Work between 12:30-2:30pm or 1:15-3:15pm from October 5, 2026, through May 20, 2027, earning $22-$25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching a specialty activity in an early childhood setting, school, camp, or youth program environment
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities
- Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Participate in a staff orientation program and read and understand the policies of Nursery School After-School as set forth in the Staff manual and at all times comply with its rules and regulations, including dress code and emergency procedures
