Job Summary
Lead an expert educator team in a nursery family room, driving the 'learning through play' ethos and the N Curriculum. Create a safe, welcoming environment while shaping daily routines for smooth transitions between mealtimes, naptimes, and playtimes. Plan, observe, and deliver high-quality learning experiences tailored to every child, coaching staff through regular feedback and professional development. Build strong relationships with parents and embed safeguarding, health, and safety standards across the room. Ensure all team members remain compliant with paediatric first aid and child protection training.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Experience in leading and coaching a team
- A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours)
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training
- A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children
- A positive, glass-half-full outlook
- Bags of drive and motivation with a 'make it happen' attitude
- A solid decision-maker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals)
Desired Qualifications
- ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator
