Job Summary
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where your team thrives while leading the 'learning through play' ethos and N Curriculum. Shape the daily routine of your room, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes. Coach, guide, and motivate your team through regular feedback and professional development to support planning and high-quality learning experiences. Build strong relationships with parents to keep them involved in their children's learning and embed safeguarding, health, and safety standards across the room. Lead an incredible team of expert Educators in one of our nursery family rooms, driving our Wildly Important Goals forward. Join us in Upminster as we reimagining early years education.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Experience in leading and coaching a team
- A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours)
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training
- A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children
- A positive, glass-half-full outlook
- Bags of drive and motivation with a 'make it happen' attitude
- A solid decision-maker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children under 2
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator
