Job Summary
Nursery Practitioner to join Butlin’s Team for the Summer Season on a fixed-term contract. You will deliver a wide activity programme, support a safe, caring environment, and support children's development through activities, observations, and records. Responsibilities include maintaining Health and Safety policies, planning activities, observing children, keeping development records, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with daily routines. Essential qualities include good communication, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to engage with diverse groups of people. Availability required on Mondays and Fridays; role is on-site in Minehead, Somerset.
Required Qualifications
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- Hold Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 is an advantage
- Have good communication skills
- Have a problem solving attitude
- Are confident to work on own initiative as necessary, but to be able to work as part of a team both large and small
- Have the ability to relate to a wide range of people
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate is an advantage
Desired Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare

- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (advantage)
