Job Summary
Lead your room as a Senior Key Teacher, delivering engaging EYFS activities and tracking child progress in a safe, inclusive environment. Build trusting relationships with parents while guiding your team, promoting safeguarding, and maintaining high standards through close collaboration with leadership. Manage daily operations to ensure a supportive culture where everyone feels valued. Full-time 4-day week with 40 hours over 4 days, earning £32,100 - £34,500 per year. Level 3 CACHE/NVQ qualification and previous nursery experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 CACHE/NVQ qualification in Childcare or equivalent
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check
- Ability to provide references
- Good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements
- Someone passionate & enthusiastic about early years education
- Someone organised, proactive and confident in leading a room and supporting colleagues
- A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
- Committed to providing exceptional childcare and learning experiences
Desired Qualifications
- Higher qualification in childcare or education
