Job Summary
Ensure the nursery presents a welcoming, inspection-ready environment by maintaining cleanliness, tidying clutter, emptying bins, and organizing deliveries. Sanitize all equipment, keep floors clear, and uphold excellent hygiene practices while complying with Health & Safety at Work Act, EHO, and COSHH regulations. Adhere strictly to safeguarding policies, escalate concerns appropriately, and support the team with additional duties as needed. Communicate effectively to order and organize stock. Work within a full-time, 40-hour schedule in Reading.
Required Qualifications
- Understand and comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act
- Take ownership for making your nursery look beautiful and for it to be always ready for inspection from environmental health
- Clean and sanitise all of our equipment, tidy away clutter, keep floors clear and make
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- Promote excellent hygiene practices in the nursery and maintain outstanding levels of cleanliness
- Be aware of, and comply with, EHO and COSHH regulations
- Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and protection for all children through safe working practices
- Work within Kïdo Schools Safeguarding policy and escalate any concerns appropriately
- Communicate in an effective and timely way to ensure all stock is ordered and organised
- Provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered
- Undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check
