Job Summary
Administer vaccines on behalf of Synchrony Pharmacy at clinics while providing pharmacological information and counseling patients on drug therapies. Prepare for vaccine administration and adhere to infection-control protocols to protect patients and employees. Comply with state and federal drug laws, including regulations from the State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA. Maintain required licenses or certifications in good standing and perform duties with a friendly, team-oriented approach. This travel seasonal role includes overnight stays during the upcoming flu season.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing, ADN, Diploma, B.S. or M.S.N. degree from an NLN accredited college or university
- Current unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of practice
- Valid CPR certification
- Travel including overnight stay as necessary
- Five (5) years' experience in a pharmacy environment
- Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
