Job Summary
Nurse Unit Manager – Day Surgery Unit leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care in a large women’s health hospital. Drive clinical governance, quality and patient safety initiatives, and lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance development and staff engagement. Oversee effective utilization of financial, human and physical resources; lead service improvement, innovation and change initiatives; contribute to strategic planning and future development of perioperative services.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Significant perioperative or procedural area experience with demonstrated leadership experience in a senior nursing role
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Experience managing operational performance, workforce planning and resource allocation
- Strong clinical governance, quality and safety expertise
