Job Summary
Lead the clinical, operational, and professional leadership of the 34-bed combined surgical and medical oncology unit. Plan, implement, and evaluate practices to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and optimal clinical outcomes in line with Ramsay Health Care standards. Manage staff, resources, and clinical operations while providing mentorship to a team of nurses and clinical support staff. Drive continuous improvement, workforce management, and effective resource utilization to achieve excellence in care delivery. This permanent full-time role reports to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of five (5) years' post-graduate nursing experience
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
