Job Summary
Lead a 35-bed Neuroscience Ward at the Fitzroy campus, providing clear guidance and expert advice to nursing and support staff to uphold high standards of clinical care. Drive development of clinical practice, supervise a team of nurses including graduates and postgraduates, collaborate with surgeons and medical specialists, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered outcomes. Manage resources and ensure compliance with hospital policies while modeling leadership and teamwork to support outstanding patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a RN
- Ability to influence and lead continuous quality of care improvements
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in IT platforms such as IBA(Webpas), Power BI, UKG, and Riskman, or similar
