Job Summary
Nurse Unit Manager for a private hospital in Epping (Victoria) leading the medical ward with accountability for clinical, operational and professional leadership, ensuring safe high-quality patient care, planning and evaluating practices in line with Ramsay Health Care standards, and mentoring a team of nurses and clinical staff. Requires current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, at least five years of post-graduate nursing experience, and experience in managing clinical staff (with CCU exposure preferred). Role emphasizes workforce management, resource optimisation, collaboration with medical/nursing/executive teams, and alignment with safety, quality, and financial stewardship. Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of five (5) years’ post-graduate nursing experience
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager (highly desirable)
- Coronary Care Unit experience required
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children Check and immunisation requirements may apply
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
