Nurse Unit Manager LPN

Nurse Unit Manager LPN will manage day-to-day nursing activities of the facility, supervise nursing staff, schedule breaks, reassign staff as needed, perform coaching and corrective action, meet with administration and other departments to plan care, develop and maintain care standards, conduct rounds to ensure standards are met, oversee documentation and reporting, maintain clean and sanitary conditions, assist QA with action plans, perform administrative tasks (forms, reports, charting), interpret restorative care policies, provide direct nursing care as needed, ensure restorative notes reflect treatment and resident responses, document data per Medicare/Medicaid requirements, handle admissions/discharges, inform nursing staff of arrivals and assignments, and fulfill other duties as assigned.
