Job Summary
Deliver practical and theory-based training and assessments to healthcare workers in manual handling, basic life support, medications, and HISS courses for NDIS staff. Conduct practical observations and mark theoretical assessments for programs including PEG feeding, epilepsy, midazolam, diabetes, wound care, and other healthcare-related subjects as required. Support students and industry clients with high-quality education while utilizing technology for virtual or face-to-face delivery. Join the National Training and Education Division within Healthcare Australia's National Training and Education Division to contribute to the upskilling of the healthcare and community services workforce.
Required Qualifications
- current TAE40116 or 40122 or nurses training / educator experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Must be an experienced RN (nurses with current acute, aged care or disability support/NDIS experience will be highly regarded)
- experience in teaching courses such as Manual Handling, Basic Life Support and medication administration for care workers
- National Police Clearance
- Covid 19 vaccination certificate
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Must reside and hold full working rights in Australia
- Are comfortable utilising technology when delivering courses virtually or face-to-face
