Job Summary
Nurse Technician role assisting in basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse at Covenant Medical Center. Requires either an RN student enrolled in an RN program with completed Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills and current enrollment, or an RN graduate who has taken but not passed the State board of Nursing within the first year after graduation (with potential demotion after one year if unlicensed). Within 1 year of hire, BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required. Location: Lubbock, TX. Benefits emphasize client-centered, team-based care aligned with Providence’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment. Or A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position. Within 1 year fof hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
