Job Summary
Assist in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse by performing basic patient care tasks. Maintain enrollment in a professional nursing program or hold a nursing degree with specific course completion requirements. Complete National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. This role supports the mission of caring for everyone, especially the most vulnerable in communities, at Covenant Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
- A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
