Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs, perform oral and catheter care, and document weight accurately. Support patient mobility by transferring them between beds and wheelchairs, transporting patients for treatments, and assisting with walking and exercise. Provide emotional support, answer call lights promptly, and maintain a clean environment by changing linens and replenishing supplies. Observe patient conditions and report changes to the primary nurse. Transport patients using lift equipment and stretchers as directed. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety measures like bed alarms are in place.
