Job Summary
Take vitals, check blood sugars, provide bed bathing and ambulation, perform wound care and catheterization, and act as a safety attendant for patients on the 22-bed Progressive Neuroscience unit. Collect and report physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs in coordination with a Registered Nurse or Provider while ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Work night shifts (7:00 pm to 7:30 am) for 36 weekly hours in a self-schedule rotation at Butterworth Hospital, supporting complex stroke and epilepsy cases within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work night shifts
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
