Job Summary
Nurse Tech on a large, fast-paced inpatient cardiac/vascular stepdown unit (Unit 6 Heart) performing vitals, basic patient care activities, wound care, catheterization, and safety supervision with 1:1 assignments as needed; collaborates with RNs/Providers, ensures accurate documentation, and may be floated to similar units. Includes sheath removal skill training and a four-week weekday training orientation before starting a regular part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- Experience in direct patient care is preferred
