Job Summary
Provide post-operative surgical care to adult patients on the surgical floor, managing cases including general surgery, bariatric procedures, total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and urological interventions. Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability, coordinate care with other departments, and evaluate the effectiveness of direct care provided by the team. Work 24 hours per week on night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 24 hours per week, Nights
