Job Summary
Lead clinical governance and oversee client care across multiple Supported Independent Living houses, developing safety systems that meet NDIS Practice Standards and supporting audits. Manage a team of Disability Support Workers through direct supervision, coaching, and annual performance reviews while delivering hands-on nursing care and training. Review clinical recommendations, oversee medication management, and respond to deteriorating client presentations to prevent hospital admissions. Build relationships with participants, families, regulators, and allied health partners while ensuring effective use of rostering and CRM systems. Requires current AHPRA registration, 1-2 years as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, and relevant governance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
- 1 - 2 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse Consultant or Senior Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in a similar clinical governance role within health and/or disability services
- Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, clinical governance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement
- Proven people-leadership skills, with experience managing performance, capability and workforce culture
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a diverse stakeholder group
