Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor responsible for developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; serving as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervising nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit; monitoring and managing staff performance including on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations; and taking patient-centered leadership to ensure seamless, compassionate rehabilitation care in an inpatient setting. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability for patient and staff results, and building meaningful relationships with patients to support successful recovery, with a focus on safety, policy adherence, and collaboration within a large post-acute care team.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity
