Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor responsible for developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; serves as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; supervises nursing care and services on an assigned unit or shift; conducts on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations, with accountability for patient and staff results; builds meaningful patient relationships and ensures compassionate, tailored care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Requires active RN licensure, BLS (ACLS within 1 year), and CRRN within 1 year; requires 2+ years of inpatient hospital experience and prior leadership experience. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication to drive quality care and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
