Job Summary
As Nurse Supervisor, lead and supervise nursing care on a specific unit, serving as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff while developing and implementing personalized patient care programs and policies. Responsible for supervising nursing care, monitoring staff performance (including on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations), and ensuring delivery of compassionate, tailored care to support successful patient recovery. Lead with empathy, foster teamwork, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes using available technology and resources. Requires current RN licensure, BLS (ACLS within one year), and CRRN (within eligibility window); prior inpatient experience and leadership experience are expected. A bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
