Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor leading and coordinating nursing care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Supervises nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts; serves as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff; monitors staff performance, provides on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations, and administers performance counseling. Builds patient relationships to support recovery, ensures implementation of personalized care programs and policies, and fosters a collaborative, supportive team environment. Requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within one year, CRRN within one year, and leadership experience; Bachelor's degree preferred; two years of inpatient experience. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead) with accountability for patient and staff results
