Job Summary
As Nurse Supervisor, lead nursing care and services on an assigned shift/unit, supervise nursing staff, and serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and frontline caregivers. Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures; monitor staff performance through on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and disciplinary counseling; engage with patients to support recovery and meaningful care experiences, and celebrate patient progress. Requires RN licensure, BLS (ACLS to be obtained within 12 months), and CRRN eligibility with a leadership background in inpatient settings; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, care program oversight, staff development, and ensuring compassionate, high-quality patient care within an inpatient rehabilitation context.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
