Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor role leading and coordinating patient care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Responsibilities include developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, serving as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, supervising nursing care and services during shifts or on a unit, monitoring staff performance (including feedback and evaluations), and conducting patient-centered interactions to support recovery. Requires current RN licensure, BLS with ACLS to be obtained within one year, CRRN within a year, and typically a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred). Requires two years of recent inpatient hospital experience and prior leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for outcomes. Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results
