Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor overseeing nursing care on an assigned unit within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Lead and supervise staff, coordinate care programs and policies, serve as a liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff, monitor staff performance, provide on-the-spot feedback and annual evaluations, and participate in care planning to support patient recovery. Role emphasizes clinical leadership, ensuring seamless implementation of procedures, maintaining high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative, compassionate work environment. Requires active RN licensure, BLS, and ongoing ACLS/CRRN development, with leadership experience in an inpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting position
- CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements
- Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
- Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse or lead capacity) with accountability for patient and staff results
