Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff in Dermatology and Oncology specialty clinics. Direct patient care functions including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while assisting physicians with treatments and completing clinical paperwork. Address nursing practice issues and ensure adherence to established standards and Mercy's philosophy of caring for the sick. Foster a professional environment for patients, families, and employees through effective communication and documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
