Job Summary
Nurse Supervisor RN for the PCU/Neuro unit providing clinical and operational leadership. Responsible for coordinating patient care delivery, staffing assignments, and daily workflow based on patient acuity and census; supervising nursing and support staff; ensuring adherence to clinical standards and evidence-based practices; contributing to regulatory/compliance requirements; supporting quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development; conducting performance evaluations and coaching; promoting patient-centered care and service excellence; requires BSN and active RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state; minimum three years of acute care RN experience; PCCN preferred with or without certification within six months of hire; full-time day shift (12-hour shifts).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland or Compact State
- BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional life support certifications as required by unit
- Minimum of three (3) years of acute care RN experience
- PCCN certification preferred (must obtain within six months of hire)
- Shift: Day shift; Full-time; 12-hour shifts
- Clinical leadership experience in PCU/Neuro or related units
- Master's degree preferred (MSN)
