Job Summary
Perform thorough assessments of residents, manage staff on each unit, and coordinate staffing assignments. Provide hands-on nursing care as necessary and oversee new admissions when Nursing Managers are unavailable. Ensure incidents are investigated, documented, reviewed, and reported correctly while maintaining communication with providers, resident families, and administration. Provide support to the facility by working on-call when needed. This role supports the mission-based environment of Mount Carmel Care Center, a Faith-Based, non-profit long-term care facility in the Berkshires.
Required Qualifications
- Current MA RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse License
- 1 years' experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in a Long-Term Care
- BLS Certification required
- Technical/other training or better in Nursing
