Job Summary
Oversee nursing staff on the PM weekend shift to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Responsibilities include supervision and leadership of nursing staff, care coordination, medication distribution, routine unit rounds, and documentation in adherence with HIPAA. Collaborate with the DON, ADON, and Administrator to streamline operations and provide ongoing staff education. Requires active RN or LPN license and at least three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility; inpatient/palliative care experience preferred. Skills: strong leadership, communication, and electronic charting proficiency. Location-focused duties performed at Complete Care at Sheridan Commons, Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related facility
- Experience in inpatient/palliative care preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and electronic charting proficiency
