Job Summary
Oversee nursing administration during nights/weekends for Elmer, NJ, including weekends, evenings and night shifts. Serve as administrative representative for all hospital departments; resolve problems affecting staff and physicians with access to department heads and administrative staff; ensure continuity of high-quality nursing care for patients of all ages. Monitor personnel performance and maintain cost containment in the absence of Nursing Managers. BSN required with progressive leadership experience in acute care; licensure in New Jersey; ACLS/BLS required; PALS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required
- Three years’ experience as an RN in acute care setting
- Evidence of continuing education beyond generic program with emphasis on management, critical care nursing and public relations
- Progressive nursing leadership roles required
- Current licensure in the State of New Jersey
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- American Heart Association PALS preferred
- CPI initial for new hires within 60 days followed by annual de-escalation training provide by Inspira
- Certification in area of specialty preferred
